The people of Yosemite Dental Care
Three dentists, one retired founder, and a practice that has been quietly caring for Mariposa since 1984.
Yosemite Dental Care started in 1984, when Dr. Thomas Wieg hung a shingle on State Highway 49. Forty years later his son Dr. Tim runs the practice alongside his wife Dr. Karen and Dr. Allyson Milman. The chair you sit in may be the same one your parents sat in.

Since joining Yosemite Dental Care in June 2016, Dr. Karen has rapidly become one of the most loved and tireless forces in the office. Dr. Karen never steps down from a challenge, and she always goes the extra mile for her patients and co-workers. Dr. Karen is excited to raise her growing family here in Mariposa with Dr. Tim and continue the family tradition of providing excellent dental care to the community. She enjoys camping with family and all things Disney.

Since returning from practicing dentistry on Wall Street in New York City, Dr. Tim has been instrumental in guiding business growth and adoption of new technologies at Yosemite Dental Care. A Mariposa native, Dr. Tim also enjoys backpacking, travel, and cooking delicious food. Dr. Tim is excited to have his wife, Dr. Karen, working at his side and to continue his father’s legacy.

Dr. Allyson joined Yosemite Dental Care in June of 2018. She graduated from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California. She is passionate about dentistry and providing excellent care with respect and a friendly face. She moved to Mariposa with her husband and loves to be active outdoors, read, and spend time with her family.

Our very own 2015 Business Man of the Year has been practicing dentistry in Mariposa since 1984. Aside from his many educational and professional achievements, Dr. Tom enjoys hiking and photography, as well as spending time with all his grandchildren. When he’s not busy handling the complex dental cases of Yosemite Dental Care, he dreams of someday hiking the John Muir Trail.
